The Lee’s Summit Community is a moderated Facebook group where neighbors ask questions, share what’s happening, and look out for each other.
What makes it different
Most local groups drown in business spam. Ours doesn’t: every post is reviewed, and hundreds get declined daily so the feed stays about the community. Businesses that want to post join the Local Directory first, which keeps posting rights earned instead of noisy.
The rules, short version
- Be a neighbor. Civil disagreement welcome, drama is not.
- No spam. Business posting is earned through the directory.
- No selling or garage sale posts. Marketplace exists for that.
- No politics here. It has its own home (below).
